If you haven’t already noticed — we changed our blog.

I (Courtney) have this nerdy desire to continuously improve how we communicate about our ministry with our partners, family, friends, and random strangers who stumble upon our crazy lives. There’s always something to fiddle with, streamline, and edit.

I like to fiddle. I’m an Arranger — it can’t be helped.

Like everything else on the Web these days, if it isn’t easy on the eyes and you can’t find what you want in the first 10 seconds — you move on.  I blame Google with their fancy search engine. And I blame Apple. With they’re pretty hardware and witty commercials saying, “You already know how to use it.”

*Sigh*

Nevertheless, I’m a sucker for 21st century communication. So here it is. The weather got colder and my creative juices started flowing — channeled into the creation of this blog. Welcome.

First off, let me say that the purpose of this blog is threefold:

1) Honor the Lord. We live to bring Him joy. He has called us to share His name. A blog is one way to do that. As you post comments, we’re gonna hold you to that as well.

2) Share our lives and ministry with you. We want you to know what’s up. We talk a lot. So we write stuff down.

3) Connect with you. Blogs are interactive — leave us comments, send us emails. Let us know if you’re reading and share your perspective. We don’t know everything — not even close. Keep us honest.
