Favorite YouTube video.

So this was a tough thing for me to think-of/figure-out because there are so many different categories on YouTube that I scavenger. From comedy, to music, to how-to’s on assembling and disassembling different technologies.

I finally settled-in on this little clip of an all-vocal group called “Naturally 7”. I first saw them when I did a news story on them in college. I was absolutely floored by them then (since they’re purely vocal, no background track, no instruments of any kind, no funny mic synth, just voices.) And they produce instrument sounds. It’s insane.

Anyway, this clip is of them performing their cover of “In The Air Tonight” live, randomly in a subway car. It’s the kind of thing that would be absolutely nuts to witness, but an idea that someone like me would have, and think it was going to be EPIC. Hopefully you think it is too :-D!

I don’t know how I feel about today’s “Get to Know us”. Maybe it’s just because I don’t know if I have a favorite YouTube video. It’s not like I peruse the site regularly.

But, I did discover this beautiful gem about a year ago. It’s of this crazy little girl named Jessica. She has blonde ringlets. She makes me smile. She loves everything about who she is — from her “Allison’s” to her “haircuts.” When I’m having a bad day, Jessica puts things in perspective.

I always wanted to have a little girl of my own with blonde ringlets. But as you know, I married an asian man, so I pretty much botched that dream. I’ll get over it. 😉
